THE RIPPLE EFFECT
a youth impact workshop series

EVERY THURSDAY, 5:30-7:30 PM
JUNE 25 – JULY 30
A hybrid workshop series for artists + educators to deepen knowledge
and skills to better serve young people in Richmond.
As part of ART 180’s transition and closure, we want to ensure that strong and positively impactful programming for the young people of our community can continue. One way we hope to do this is through The Ripple Effect: a new workshop series aimed at artists, with or without teaching experience, educators, and individuals already working with organizations that are serving youth. Through the series, we’ll share the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to independently sustain youth arts programming in Richmond, in our absence. Knowledge and a connected community are two strong forces for positive change that ripple out across our city.
Sessions will be led by ART 180 leadership, local subject matter experts, and community partners. Each participant will leave with a resource toolkit including templates, guides, and a curated list of partnership contacts.
All sessions are free and open to the public and will take place on Thursdays, weekly from June 25 through July 30. Sign up for one, two, or all that you want to attend.
