OPEN STUDIO
a new workshop series for adult creatives
Are you an artist looking to expand your skills, connect with others, and access resources to sustain your creative career? Join ART 180 and CultureWorks for the Open Studio: All Access, a bi-monthly workshop series designed to provide artists with all-access to creative space, skill-building, and grant writing guidance.
This is a 6-month series running from October through March and is open to artists aged 21 and up. Registration is free, but space is limited. We encourage participants to attend all 12 sessions, with a focus on the six grant workshops, to maximize the program’s benefits.
What to Expect:
Skill Development Workshops: Held on the first Wednesday of each month, these sessions will be led by local artists and will cover a variety of artistic techniques to enhance your portfolio and creativity.
Grant Writing Workshops: On the third Wednesday of each month, expert Mary Burruss will lead grant writing sessions to help you navigate the application process. By the end of the program, participants will have crafted and submitted at least one grant proposal.
Those who have completed the program will be awarded a certificate of completion, ART 180 studio hours, and the opportunity to showcase their work at one of ART 180's 2025 events and exhibitions.
If you are looking to network and build with fellow artists in a creative environment and gain valuable resources to help sustain your art career, this is a fantastic opportunity you don't want to miss.
