Role Reversal: on view in Atlas

Role Reversal, a new group exhibition, is on view at ART 180's Atlas Gallery, now through November 18, with work by artists from across ART 180’s collective. Featuring Allianah Hamilton, Ashley White, Brian Cannady II, Chris "Steve" Oliver, Dallas Roquemore, Davi Leventhal, Deirra Clyburn, Ishraq Quasem, Jade Dickinson, James Kiscaden, Maggi Tinsley, Mecca Harris, River Allum, Sherelle Rodgers Jackson, Silly Genius, Tanesha Powell & Matthew Davidson, Taylor Simpson, Xavier Whitney, Yasmeen Jaaber, and Yewande Lewis.

A public closing reception will be held at our Atlas gallery, from 5-8 p.m., on Friday, November 7, as part of RVA First Fridays.

The show highlights the dissonance created by professional expectations that force individuals to diminish themselves in the service of professionalism.
