Protect Ya Neck: We Gon' Be Alright

ART 180’s final exhibition opens Friday, August 7, one last celebration of this space and all the people that are drawn to it. Protect Ya Neck: We Gon’ Be Alright is a showcase of all-youth artwork created across this summer in our Atlas Artist Residency, and curated by the teens in our summer curation program.

Protect Ya Neck, inspired by the Wu-Tang Clan song, is a call for community protection and collective support. The young artists working with us this summer have taken this theme and collaborated on an exhibition with pieces across mediums exploring ideas and visual styles from protection, history, anime and manga, and resilience.

Come out for one final send-off to support and uplift these young artists, and share our gallery with us one last time.
