About the Event
Join us for the Easel, ART 180’s monthly art-in-the-parklet series spotlighting Black women artists in Richmond., running April through September.
The Easel transforms a city block into a space for intentional creative interruption, public art, and community connection.
On July 17, we welcome Lanecia A. Rouse to the parklet to create a new piece, live and from scratch. Lanecia is a multidisciplinary artist working between Richmond, VA, and Houston, TX, whose practice spans collage, painting, and photography. Her work is rooted in personal history, spiritual inquiry, and social context and has been exhibited nationally. And yes, your lunch plans are covered. The Wrapperz D-Lite food truck will be on site, ready to serve ya something delicious!
