About the Event
The Easel returns to the parklet next week on Thursday, August 21, from 12-2 p.m., featuring artist Deirra Clyburn!!!
Deirra is a writer, illustrator, and recent ART 180 teaching artist whose work explores themes of estrangement, found family, and romantic love through a speculative and supernatural lens. For the Easel, Deirra will create a new piece live and from scratch in just two hours, giving you an exclusive peek into her creative process.
For lunch, we’re joined by our friends TBT El Gallo, making the freshest tacos to delight one and all!
If the heat gets too intense, rest assured, we’ll adjust to a nice hybrid inside/outside event for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
