What is Q:
A quarterly magazine created by ART 180 dedicated to the wisdom of wondering. In each issue, six insiders and six onlookers join us in exploring a topic at the heart of what we do: children, community, compassion, change, communication, and creative expression. Why we created Q:
We view Q as an extension of the work we do with young people; helping them to explore their values, thoughts, and stories and to share them with others through creative expression. With Q, we are asking the community to do the same. We pose a question based on one of our core values in order to start a conversation and engage folks from all walks of life to think about art and the change it can effect.
How you can join in the conversation:
We want to hear from YOU. Have an answer to our Question? Send your thoughts, drawings, photos, poems, songs, jokes, videos, however you choose to communicate to our blog; Facebook or send us an email and be sure to check back as our conversation grows.
How you can get Q:
If you would like to receive all six issues of Q as they are produced, along with a keepsake envelope for the entire collection, we are requesting a minimum donation of $50 that will help fund after-school programs in creative expression for young people in challenging circumstances. Please make sure to include your name, email and mailing address so Q can find you.
